Slave girl and I were meeting a friend at Spitz for lunch. We have been there for happy hour but I haven't been there during lunch time, sounded exciting!
At Spitz, everything was ordered at the counter by the bar. There were plenty of seats and I enjoyed how colorful the restaurant was decorated. Water was also self served.
We ordered street cart doner and street cart fries with the work.
My street cart doner came with lamb, garlic aioli, fried lavash chips, romaine, cabbage, tomato, onion, green pepper, cucumber, and tzatziki. Size was good and the wrap was rich in color just like the restaurant decoration. It tasted good with everything in one bite.
Street cart fries came with pretty much the same thing as the doner, but over the fries instead. It was even more colorful than the doner and piled really high. It was truly great if I had some delicious adult beverages in my hand. Sigh... work lunch broke balls.
It is confirmed that there is no difference during lunch time or happy hour time when it comes to portion and quality. You just pay less during happy hour so do we all know when the best time to visit Spitz is now?
