After I read a post about Alexander's from one of my food blogging site, I was convinced I MUST try this place before I die. Since I don't know when I would die, I gathered bunch of victims including slave girl to share this experience with me.

Ever since I saw stinking rose when I went to Newport seafood from across the street, I have always wanted to try this place. The restaurant looks interesting from outside and the concept of using garlic on everything intrigues me. This night, in the name of birthday celebration, I found a reason to check this place out finally.

Every year people are obligated to do something nice for their mothers and this year is no exception. Since my mom visited me from out of town during this time, I decided to take her to Higo and showed her a different take on sushi. This was not my first time visiting Higo Sushi and everytime bugie me would get omakase. Higo continued to impress me when I went back with something different and their food presentation has always woo ahh the friends I brought with me every single time.

I was in the area for a dental appointment, after trolling around the plaza, I saw this big post on the window says "$14.99 AYCE Shabu Shabu lunch, 7 days a week." The picture looks attractive and I was plenty hungry. Sure let's try it.

ZHENG'S FUSION - City of Industry, CA

I got family in town and grandma decided to call a family gathering meal. It would have been easy but she wanted a place with a private room. After some searching here and there, we ended up with zheng's fusion. The minimum charge for the private room was $380, but with 9 adults and 3 kids, it wasn't that hard to meet the requirement.
