I have been to Nick and Stef's many times for happy hour but never stopped by for their normal meal. This was our 4th DineLA spot and I was very excited.

M Grill - Los Angeles, CA (Koreantown)

This was our 3rd 2018 DineLA spot. Slave girl and I have been wanting to try M Grill for a long time but we disagreed with the price until DineLA happened. We were seriously jumping for joy on our way to lunch.

Ruth’s Chris Steak House - Pasadena, CA

This year slave girl took me to Ruth's Chris for my birthday celebration. I have been to one a looooong time ago in Philly and remembered it being good. I have been craving steaks so it was just perfect.

Rossoblu - Los Angeles, CA (DTLA)

The friend I don't get to see often has been hitting me up more than usual this year. I meant, it went from once every 2 years to this year's 4th summon, you would think something was up, lol... Anyway, slave girl and I wanted to impress her so we picked Rossoblu.

Maison Akira - Pasadena, CA

To celebrate my engagement with slave girl, and also gathering with my long time friend, we picked Maison Akira for our weekend happy ending.

Koi Japanese Cuisine - Seal Beach, CA

This has been my 5th visit to Koi and I must say, thank goodness they are not around where I live because I would go broke real quick.

BARDOT Brasserie - Las Vegas, NV

Slave girl and I were looking for a place to get brunch and we found out Bardot Brasserie had brunch until 1:30pm with bottomless mimosa. Yes please.

Katsuya L.A. Live - Los Angeles, CA

During DineLA, I saw Katsuya on the list and I was pretty excited about it since I have never been there and always wanted to try them. I gathered my work crew during lunch, made a reservation and we were on our way to check it out.

SUGARFISH by sushi nozawa - Los Angeles, CA

During DineLA, I noticed sugarfish was on the list. I also realized even though I have been to the nozawa bar, I have never tried sugarfish. Let's go!

Bar Jackalope - Los Angeles, CA

Speaking of hidden whiskey bar, Bar Jackalope was an experience if you get to go in. The seating was super limited but no one could resist slave girl's charm. The inside interior was gorgeous and the staff was friendly and professional.

Agora Churrascaria - Irvine, CA

Friends were doing birthday celebrations and slave girl and I were invited. I have never had Brazilian BBQ in OC before and very excited to check this place out.

Malbec Argentinean Cuisine - Santa Monica, CA

Fatty was invited to Malbec to try some delicious Argentinean food. I have been to Malbec in Pasadena with slave girl before and enjoyed the service and the steak. This is a truly no brainier for me to go back and refresh my taste bud on some authentic cuisine.

Benihana - City Industry, CA

I have heard about Benihana for years but never got a reason to go mainly because there are way too many better Japanese restaurants around. Slave girl signed up with their chef's table club and got $30 off coupon to be used during her birthday month, well, good enough reason I suppose.

Sushi Gen - Los Angeles, CA

Slave girl has been raving about Sushi Gen for as long as I know her. Since we finally got the same day off on Fridays, we got together for me to experience the lunch special rush.

Fig & Olive - West Hollywood, CA

To celebrate me getting a new job, slave girl got a Groupon deal to try out this restaurant with me. The deal was pretty good, for $85, we can have 3 crostinis, one appetizer including crudo, 2 main courses and 2 drinks up to $16 each. I was excited for my first time visit since I've had their crostini when I attended other food events before and was impressed with the food.

Coqueta - San Francisco, CA

After checking out the ferry building, I made slave girl walked with me to pier 39. On the way over, we passed by coqueta and she told me her brother liked this place. Say what!? If dungeon boy liked it, it has to be good since I know he's pretty picky when it comes to food. So we dashed in and found out we could sit at the bar without reservation.
