Cracker Barrel Old Country Store - Las Vegas, NV

Slave girl was super excited about trying this place since she has never had it before. I on the other hand had my fair share of Cracker Barrel when I used to be the road warrior crossing country. I never really loved the place but for my love I shall eat here one more time.

Plan Check Kitchen + Bar - Los Angeles, CA

Slave girl and I decided to go back and give plan check a second try. This time around with much better experience. The service was fast and accommodating. We were seated by the patio, but the sun was in our eyes. When we asked for a different seat, we were taken to a new table right away. Our server was also great with the water refilling and checking on us for things.

HAPPY HOUR NIGHT - DTLA, CA

Cole's front, easy to find at night.
I happened to be in Downtown LA on a Tuesday so I decided to meet up with slave girl to hit up some happy hour when she got off. There were so many choices and we couldn't really decide where to go so we asked our friend Jen to join us and had her to help us to make the happy hour decisions. We ended up in 4 places for the night but only the first place was happy hour. The rest...well, we were still happy so does that count?

STEER N ALE - Pasadena, CA

I purchased a Groupon deal for this place and I was told by my friends who will only come to this restaurant when they have the crave for a chunk of meat; however, don't expect the quality to be outstanding. Well, I was craving for meat and Steer 'n Ale was where I dragged slave girl with me.

Front door

When I first walked in, it felt like a Jersey diner which wasn't a bad thing since I haven't been to Jersey for ages. I ordered super stockyard which was a one pound steak and slave girl got fried chicken dinner.
