Taiwan Sausage Bei - Rowland Heights, CA

Our foodie friend Charlie (so jelly he could go inside of the truck to take pictures...) told us a new Taiwanese food truck opened up in Rowland Heights and I have been dying to try it. Sadly I was never able to make it due to work schedule when they only open from Monday to Friday, from 11 am to 2 pm/sold out. I was finally in Rowland Heights on a fine Friday and got to try it.

Service was excellent. We were greeted with a warm smile when we walked up to the ordering window. The owner lady was friendly and helpful. After knowing it was our first time, she was going through the menu and making suggestions. Don't forget to ask for the sweet n hot sauce all the way carried by them from Taiwan.

Slave girl and I both got the combo meal which was 1 braised pork item, 2 snack items, and a drink at $6.50. I decided to go with chicken and rice, and slave girl got dried meat floss (diced braised pork and dried pork flakes). On the side we got salty pork, sausage, and braised cabbage. We also got their new item, golden kimchi.

We knew this truck was legit when we saw the beverage offered were popular Taiwanese drinks. Can we say childhood memories?

The chicken rice was good but I wish there was more chicken to the dish due to the protein rice ratio. The salty pork was tasty as hell and made a great supplement for the rice.

The dried meat floss was our favorite for sure. It was super flavorful and we just couldn't stop eating it. The sausage tastes like it was home made and good too.

Golden kimchi was super good edition to the menu. It was crispy with a mix flavor of mustard, sugar, and garlic goodness. It was refreshing and another excellent rice mate.

Overall experience was more than positive. Affordable price, delicious food with happy people making them, what's there not to like? Oh yes, just one thing, no seats. Don't worry, here is a fatty pro tip. Take your food and walk all the way across the parking lot to the other side and eat your yummy food in the food court. Just make sure don't leave your garbage behind because that's just not nice. Say hi to the owner Kevin if he's there and let them know Fatty Eat World send you, enjoy!!
