M Grill - Los Angeles, CA (Koreantown)

This was our 3rd 2018 DineLA spot. Slave girl and I have been wanting to try M Grill for a long time but we disagreed with the price until DineLA happened. We were seriously jumping for joy on our way to lunch.

Finding a parking space in the area was stupid hard, so we took advantage of the valet parking at the restaurant. Believe me, it was worth it. I was glad we made a reservation but still waited for a little bit after we got there.

The setting for all you can eat Brazilian BBQ here was pretty much the same as other similar restaurants. We got a little card that had both green and red sides. Green means more food, red means stop. Funny thing was, the servers kept coming over regardless the color of our cards.

M Grill had pretty good salad bar selections. Even though we were here for meat, we couldn't stop ourselves but getting plates of items from the salad bar.

They also had cheese bread but we had to request one for our table. Not sure if that was the standard practice, but it was delicious.

During DineLA, they had brisket as the special item. Unfortunately, I wasn't too impressed with it. All other meats were tasty and very enjoyable. They also had a menu on the table so we were able to order directly if the meat we wanted never made it to our table. The most interesting item for me was cinnamon covered grilled pineapple. Our most favorite meat was picanha. Juicy and flavorful, it was everything we wanted.

From time to time they got items that are not on the menu so be sure to keep eyes open for those. For that day it was chicken heart and it was very good.

Overall, the food was great and service was excellent. It's a place I would go back to for sure.
