Craft Hill West Covina - West Covina, CA

Slave girl and I haven't seen our illegally adopted children (formally known as my drinking wife, but she has a man now so she got demoted) for a long time and they asked us to have brunch with them. Craft Hill was where they picked and that was where we went.

When we got there, they had a full house at the dinning area but no one was at the bar area so that was where we seated. That wasn't a big issue until we realized our server was also the bartender, and they were serving bottomless mimosas. So you guessed it, no service at all. During the mean time, the host was doing nothing and told us he couldn't take our orders because that wasn't his duty. 30 minutes later, all of sudden he was ok to take orders from the table next to us who was there way after us. From the moment we walked in until we actually got our food, no joke, a full hour wait according to my photo details. Hangry was real.

The menu was simple, she ordered chicken n waffles with tater tots on the side. I got corned beef n hash and biscuit n gravy.

Corned beef and hash had potatoes, onions and peppers in it, along with two fried eggs, bread, and tater tots. It was tasty. Good plate for breakfast.

Biscuit and gravy was delicious. Gravy was seasoned well and could be used with anything on the table. No complains here.

Chicken and waffle was not that good. Chicken was dry and bland. Waffle was thick and dense. This dish is not recommended.

Tater tots was done well, crispy outside and soft inside.

Overall we really enjoyed the food with the exception of chicken and waffle. Service was shit. However, once the restaurant was cleared out, it got better. So I would say, come eat here but avoid rush hours if you can.
