Sanamluang Cafe - Los Angeles, CA

After being bougie with slave girl seeing a movie at the Chinese theater, we were hungry and ready for some Thai food in Hollywood. Since I haven't been to Sanamluang, slave girl gave a go to try it.

Parking was a pain but we got lucky and found a free street parking. The restaurant had a lot of empty seats and the menu had loads of selections. We ordered satae chicken, Sanamluang noodles, and pud see ew.

Satae chicken was decent, especially after dipping into the sauce. Good flavor and it came with toasts. To classify this dish as an appetizer was a little misleading because it was as expensive as an entree and pretty much a decomposed chicken sandwich. I would still order it though.

Slave girl said the Sanamluang noodles was just ok and she had it better somewhere else. I personally liked the broth mostly because of the fried onion used, then I realized later it was really just msg.

Pud see ew was pretty average. No special sauce used and almost bland. Good thing we had jalapeños vinegar and spicy red sauce to make this dish lively.

To be honest I have no idea if they had a signature dish or anything alike. I didn't understand why they were popular while everything we tasted were pretty average. Maybe we ordered the wrong things? Until next time.
