Work wife wanted to have happy hour so we decided to roam around Fullerton. We passed by a sign that said "Tomahawk Steak $26", and next thing you know, we were sitting in JP23.

The inside of the restaurant was surprisingly spacious. There were big TVs to watch sports with and happy hour was indeed going on. We ordered bunch of chicken wings and the tomahawk steak.
With our chicken wings order, we picked buffalo, Sriracha chili, and honey BBQ. Good flavors and at 50 cents a wing, not bad at all. My favorite was the buffalo. It was sad that my wings got cold quick due to the cold air from outside, but that really wasn't the kitchen's fault.

The tomahawk was pretty awesome for just $26 a piece. It was in full size and ready to be shared. We asked the steak to be cooked medium since work wife didn't like blood. It came out medium well which was a shame, but the seasoning was good. I would definitely asked for medium rare next time.
Overall I enjoyed the food, but the experience was very strange. We were in the middle of eating and all of sudden, all the tables and chairs around us were taken away. Our server never came to tell us what happened until I realized they turned the restaurant into a bar/club after...9? So there we were, in the middle of the "dance floor" eating our steak while surrounded by bunch others dancing and mingling. We couldn't even talk because of the loud music. I guess I will have to be earlier the next time I come back for that steak.
