Slave girl and I were going to a show at Pantages but the show didn't start until 8pm. We got there around 5:30p and we were hungry! We saw this big neon sign "Hollywood Burger" across the street and decided to give it a try.
When we got there, I was excited to see they served beer and wine. They also had a happy hour running from 3-6pm with discounted food and drinks. Score!
The service was super friendly. The moment we walked in, we were greeted right away. Throughout our meal, the staff kept coming around to see how we were doing. The restaurant was spacious and bar stools were also available for seating. They had merchandises to sell if you become a fan. The restaurant had an Instagram contest for $50 gift card if you love free food!
We decided to sit at the bar and after looking through the menu, we decided on the VIP cheeseburger, the BLVD, side orders of fries and tater tots, and 6 pieces of chicken tenders to share.
The VIP cheeseburger came with applewood smoked bacon, American cheese, red onion, lettuce, tomato, and their "secret sauce". The burgers were made to order and I could see it from the bar. The patty was seasoned and tasted good especially with bacon. It was a tasty burger and I would recommend it.
Everything were freshly made |
The BLVD came with fresh battered, crispy fried chicken, packed with spicy slaw and dill pickles, then finished with chipotle honey sauce. The chicken was perfectly fried, and sad to say, I think I like this more than the burger.
The chicken tenders were oh my God good. Nothing beats freshly fried chicken tenders. The chicken was seasoned well, but since it came with 2 sauces, we tried BBQ and honey mustard. We talked with one of the staff and he let us tried the secret sauce, chipotle honey sauce, and fresh herb ranch with no extra charge. We love the BBQ the most!
Overall, I love this place. Amazing staff with fresh tasty food. The only thing I would like to see is adding a combo deal on the menu. If you are in the area and craving for something good and fast, this is it.
