Slave girl has heard about Smorgasburg and always wants to go check it out, but we usually camp in on Sundays to sleep in and do laundry. I got a friend who moved to LA recently and finally pushed our lazy butts out to downtown LA for this.

Honey’s Kettle Fried Chicken - Culver City, CA

Slave girl heard I was interested in Honey's Kettle Fried Chicken and got a Groupon deal for me to try. We went on a Friday during lunch time and was able to find street parking a block from the restaurant, not too bad.

Melt It! A Grilled Cheese Co. - Pasadena, CA

Slave girl got a Groupon for Melt It, and I remember seeing my cousin posting some awesome cheesy looking thing on her social media from here. Words just couldn't describe how excited I was to finally made it in!

LA Cafe - Los Angeles, CA (DTLA)

Work wife and I went to check out Corporation Food Hall and we were not impressed with the selections. We were hungry and started to walk around the street hoping to see something more appealing. That was when we stumbled in to LA Cafe.

Rossoblu - Los Angeles, CA (DTLA)

The friend I don't get to see often has been hitting me up more than usual this year. I meant, it went from once every 2 years to this year's 4th summon, you would think something was up, lol... Anyway, slave girl and I wanted to impress her so we picked Rossoblu.

Pho Ga District - Rosemead, CA

I have been to Pho Ga District before and I was pretty impressed with the food and the service. The chicken broth was tasty and it didn't give me cotton mouth after the meal. Moving forward, I had a pretty bad hangover one day and I was craving for chicken broth, so here I was again.

Pez Cantina - Los Angeles, CA (DTLA)

Slave girl and I were scheduled to go to a nearby modern art museum for a special exhibition, and since we haven't had lunch yet, I thought it would be a good idea before we sunk the next 4 hours inside the museum. Pez Cantina was nearby and it looked nice so we ended up going there for quick munchies.

Hollywood Burger - Los Angeles, CA (Hollywood)

Slave girl and I were going to a show at Pantages but the show didn't start until 8pm. We got there around 5:30p and we were hungry! We saw this big neon sign "Hollywood Burger" across the street and decided to give it a try.

The Tackle Box Food Truck - Los Angeles, CA (South Park)

Work wife told me she had her eyes on this food truck for quite sometime and on Tuesdays they station their truck at The Reef parking lot instead of some place far far away from work. She got all excited and wanted to try it.

Sojuya - Cypress, CA

Slave girl gang and I were not impressed with the original hang out spot and we decided to find somewhere else that was more affordable with more selections. Sojuya looked promising and we headed over ASAP.

Neptunes Raw Oysters & Seafood Bar - Artesia, CA

Slave girl's other lover wanted to hang out after work. She suggested Neptunes and since I have seen all the noodle pictures on social media, I was interested to check it out.
