Slave girl and I were in the area for an event but got some time to kill, so we came to Mama Lion for their happy hour. Mama Lion's entrance was located at the corner of Western and 6th. It looked elegant and upscale inside along with fancy looking hosts and bartenders. Everyone was friendly.

I saw Yaki Cafe on a random walk and decided to check it out. After picking up the menu, I realized it was a Korean owned eating spot that showcased American deli items and Korean rice dishes. I was very interested and wanted to try it one day.

Cajun House - El Monte, CA

Slave girl wrote this one!! Cajun House is a little hard to find due to a bunch of little strip malls around the same area. Google maps actually brought us to the adjacent and slightly scary strip mall. Anyways Cajun House located in the back upstairs. They are in the same lot as the Garcias Fruits place.
